I was reading an article / interview with Grant King regarding Origin Energy's entry into the LNG export market, where more than $24 BILLION was invested in long term infastructure and how he is handling the current downturn in the oil / gas price, which has caused the share price of Origin share price to take a beating and forced them to raise $2.5 BILLION last year to complete the project.

The one quote that I think is very relevant to Armour and AEP from the article is:

King is also optimistic on the long-term demand for less carbon intensive fuels in coming decades after the Paris agreement in December to pursue efforts to limit global warming to 1.5C. "If the world is genuinely desiring to reduce carbon emissions to an even more ambitious target I can't see how it is going to do that without using a lot more natural gas," King says.

Australia now (or soon will have) the necessary infastructure for serious LNG exports. Having the gas available to supply is another question and the hunt for good supply will heat up over the next 12 months (IMO). The Northern Territory is the place to be, especially with the NEGI route now confirmed.
