When I compared the myeco range at my local duopoly supermarket chain stores they were more expensive for less bags than other products that also make similar claims about being recycled and/or compostable eccetera. I don't doubt the myeco range is probably a superior product but in my experience the average punter trying to do the right thing will go for the cheapest option as long as it says made from recycled materials and won't bother to check the fineprint. Very hard to compete with the homebrand ranges as well. The big chains give their own products better shelf space etc. I'm happy to be proven wrong but I think recyclable waste bags is too competitive to make a lot of money out of. They need to come up with a game-changing, propriety, single-use plastic food product replacement. No one has cracked this yet afaik but it is by far the biggest market.
