My Grandfarther, farther was a carrier in the 1860's. My Grandfarther used a dray (big, 12 bullocks pulled it) to transport houses from Sunny Corner ( Gold) to Kandos to provide housing for the workers. Today Kandos cement works is closed, Portland cement works is closed and wallarawang power station is closed replaced by ...... nothing. The houses were kit houses and could be pulled apart?
