Maybe screwed over? JP was already 3rd on the T20, so they would have known that granting CPS placement rights was essentially giving them control of the register. I wonder if the poor placement uptake left CPS not wanting to be holding a dud with a long lead time, so felt their only option was to take it over and RTO. But then I'm not sure why CPS didn't agree to place shares on a "best endeavours" basis. Perhaps they actually wanted the shell. There's plenty to choose from on the ASX, though none I know of with such low shares on issue. AVD has $1.7M cash and $1.47M mc @ 3.5c. Only 42M fpo. A genuine beast of a shell if that's the way it heads. It also owes most of the register 20c. If CPS take control, I can see another CR coming that they all participate in to get their average down and then try and find a juicy project.
