If CPS find a home for the shortfall at 8.5c, I'd be amazed and would load-up, on-market, as the cash position would be fantastic for the number of shares and EV.

More likely, it will be like ESR recently and the placement price would be revised down.

I also notice the underwriting agreement was "conditional" but the conditions don't see to be prevailing:

The obligation of the Underwriter to underwrite the Offer is subject to certain events of termination.
The Underwriter may terminate its obligations under the Underwriting Agreement, upon or at any time prior to the Issue Date, if:

(a) (Indices fall): the S&P ASX 200 Index is at any time after the date of this Agreement 15% or more below its respective level as at the close of business on the Business Day prior to the date of this Agreement;

(b) (Prospectus): the Company does not lodge the Prospectus on the lodgement date or the Prospectus or the Offer is withdrawn by the Company;

(c) (Supplementary prospectus): (i) the Underwriter, having elected not to exercise its right to terminate its obligations under the Underwriting Agreement as a result of an occurrence as described in paragraph (o)(iv), forms the view on reasonable grounds that a supplementary prospectus should be lodged with ASIC for any of the reasons referred to in section 719 of the Corporations Act and the Company fails to lodge a supplementary prospectus in such form and content and within such time as the Underwriter may reasonably require; or

And there's a bunch of others that aren't relevant.
