Croc … your interpretation of intent is always clouded by your bias.
I have no intent … I monitor and interpret and decide based on what I see. Sometimes I get it wrong but so far have been spot on in this case - and your "old Crock" brigade have been so wrong.
No matter how it is pitched - the Top 40, OZNT, Mike Elliott concept is still "the tail wagging the dog" irrespective of how it's settled or structured.
So consider this PLEASE …. think outside the square - bigger - laterally … WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR WKT TO GET FINANCING ?
I suspect that is not a personality thing. It is in fact a fundamental.
What have we all missed?
Regards
Why are we discussing why it is so hard to get funding? WKT have already achieved funding once but rejected it. Time taken getting an undesirable funding offer is time lost but does not reflect a negative light on the project, the project got funding. Once funding was rejected the clock has to start again, disappointing certainly. Roll all this time into one lot is distorting things.
The more I have thought on things the more I feel the China based funding offer reflects what is going on around the globe. China based funding offered with short term positives but long term negatives. Deliberately making the long term hard in the direct intent to take over or at least control the asset in lieu of loan repayment, IMO. Tells me Lindi was worth the risk to gain the asset.
To secure a second funding offer from a number of combined sources takes time, we all just need to Suck it up and stop looking for reds under the bed.
Maybe because China is the only game in town in reality, given the infrastructure needs? Question not statement, OK.
(And this China:US thing … global politics … has just become far more significant.)
Don't forget the US market.. some big players in the Graphite space is from the US market. Asbury is one of them and a few more?
Why not sign up suppliers from Europe, Us and asia. Use the supply agremement approach current sh, banks and etc?
