Risk is not perceived its real. Sovereign risk is very much a consideration. Second factor is first time mine, unproven so to speak
China is not the only option but possibly the most willing to fund higher risk ventures.
Yes the China bs US thing has markets spooked some what but good opportunities/investment still attract money, it’s the not so strong cases that will get overlooked.
