I believe it's not about getting a mining industry director on board (YET).
This is about getting a director(s) in who will help to clean house so that the appropiately qualified directors can be brought in (later) and appropriately incentivised to move the ship forward.
Aligning director's incentives to key milestones and share price appreciation etc.
Also note that due to their (Proksa and Mena) investments in many entities, they would know who the good directors are and no doubt would have gotten to know them over the years.
This is step 1.
