Funnily enough I've been trading mxc and ac8 every day or two for the last month or two very successfully, many times buying in the arvo and selling in the morning, easy to do on a rising tide and only taking a 2-5% rise each trade but MMJ has been my base stock, I just kept pouring money into it trying to control it's movements some days and fighting the market. I'm disciplined enough but also impulsive so it's been a good experience and I'm learning more about my personality than anything. You can't hit every rise but missing out on a few percent is better than losing the lot on a large sell-off. I now understand capital preservation is key so thanks for the tip and I'll just try and beat those pesky fund managers at 8%
