Not sure about your wording invester/trader I don't no of a difference! U can carry a tax loss for 7 years before u need to claim it but any tax gain is in that year ! The 12 months only relates to the portion u get taxed on, anything over 12 months u get taxed on half your profit anything under u get taxed on the lot any loss is fully claimed no matter the period
