I’ve planned to update you on Lucapa Diamond Company [ASX:LOM] for some time. Unfortunately, with so many of your other stocks requiring urgent attention, that plan has been pushed into the background. Next week, assuming there aren’t any fresh urgent updates needed, I promise that will change.
Lucapa remains one of the best resource companies on the ASX. The company’s alluvial mining activities, which require nothing more than a bulldozer to dig for diamonds, have become free cash flow positive. That’s netted the company a few decent paycheques.
Lucapa is also aggressively exploring projects around the world. The goal is to find a massive diamonds treasure chest (kimberlite). The best news: management isn’t being reckless about the exploration plans.
With the intention of building a world-class company during the tough times, Lucapa’s management team are carefully controlling spending. That should (hopefully) trigger a massive turnaround story over the next few years.
Your analyst is clearly impressed with the company.
