And they have done so because they're so concerned about lithium shortages and it also gives them first access once the project is in production. Lithium is such a hyped space at the moment, whereas oil and gas is not, its hard to make a justifiable comparison.

if IVZ raises more money now, they will likely be doing so at a premium to the last raise - so less dilution than if they raised more in june. If they wait until drilling has started, they might even end up having to raise at a much lower price (look at the share price fluctuations on the last drill). At least doing it now, its at the highest point the SP has been over the last 9 months.
