Your Assumption: Institutions dont flip shares for a quick profit? I would suggest that when they do ..it is more damaging (manipulative) than the retail investors.
Retail investors are stakeholders as well. And potential customers and a major source of positive marketing when treated well. They are worthy of sharing the spoils and many have an interest in the long term share price.
Take a poll... how many people on this retail investor website are happy with the SPP results? I, for one, am not impressed.
That being said.. you live and learn and on to the next BNPL offering.
