That's true about the data being released before OPTA expiry but the likelihood is the company will be sold and that could occur after that point, but is very improbable that the sale process will outlast OPTB. Both good buys but I'm strictly B and heads. Today's action is very encouraging from a TA perspective and it's important for the SP to rise strongly before a takeover. It is sometimes difficult for BP to justify a high multiple, like say 5 x SP.
