Yep, totally unfair to my children's generation. The Bank of Mum and Dad is the only pathway for me to live close to my children—and given that Ms. FFS wants to hold grandchildren one day, I effectively have to pay for shelter for the kids so they have a safe place to have sex and reproduce.

Back in my generation, sex and reproduction happened spontaneously, no "we will buy you a house if you impregnate my daughter" stuff back in my day!!!


It's no secret that I came to the share market late. I was investing in property in the ’90s and ’00s, and it’s done well for me. I used the negative gearing and tax rules to my advantage, with rule #1 being: you don’t need to pay CGT if you don’t sell. This, of course, has led to some very bad motivations for me to never sell—terrible for the younger generation. The solution is of course building more houses and make them 50% cheaper to build, it's just crazy.
