Interesting point. However, settlement process takes a few days before money can be collected and then used. Given the deadline today for SPP and the normal-two-working-day settlement process, there is little chance of doing it yesterday.
As a result, this won't explain the surprisingly high trade volume yesterday.
The strangely low volume in previous days or even in recent weeks does not suggest this practice adopted by title holders either.
