No actually. Online brokers don't do all of that automatically because how are they supposed to know what price you paid for the shares when they've never been to market. You pay a private amount of dollarydoos to the company for a certain amount of shares at a price set by the company, the online broker does nothing except allow you to trade your shares once received from the share registry used by the company
