The share purchase plan has become a bit of a little gift to shareholders. You can buy $30K of Orica shares (unless its scaled back) for $15.84 each and currently sell them on market for around $17.24 for about a $1.9K profit. I am going to keep about half of my shares so won't make quite that much but still handy pocket change without any risk.
