I just read an article from commodity research firm CRU titled "Direct reduced iron to become one of the fastest growing commodities within the steel value-chain" which sets out the reasons why they think there will be increased DRI demand and how DRI requires high grade feed stock for pellets which is forecast to be in short supply.
Therefore, it is not surprising to hear that Hawsons had "an approach from an international investment fund for a possible placement of shares in Hawsons" and have "other strategic investors who have expressed interest in the Company and/or the Project". We will wait and see how these opportunities play out.
