Isak - I accept that Metgasco has said that it might encounter low permeability sands containing gas (or tight gas) while drilling Rosella. So what? In any case thousands of oil & gas wells drilled around the world drill through tight sands to get to their target. Sometimes the tight sands even form the seal for the conventional oil & gas trap beneath. It doesn't mean that the tight gas is the target or will ever be developed.

The fact of the matter is that the Rosella Well is a Conventional well in every sense of the word. MEL isnt going to use any unconventional extraction techniques to evaluate the gas. The REF is approved as a Conventional gas well.

Your steadfast refusal to get to grips with oil field practice 101 just demonstrates further that you really dont want to understand the technical realities about this well.

Struggling to see how the drilling of a single conventional gas well on a disused quarry site equates to "industrial gas mines".

The facts just dont fit the scary narrative that you're pushing.
