It seems to me that the recent fall in share price might be the market assuming that flooding was going to cause serious damage. This update indicates that the flood damage will in fact be minimal.
The US seems to be reducing crop size but every time we suspect a reduction, they always manage to bring in another record crop. We definitely don't need a record crop from over there this season.
The next few months is going to be mayhem in China. It might take a while for their full scale buying to resume. Once it does, the spot price will hopefully rebound.
