Just had a listen - played it in the background whilst catch up on some other stuff.
A few bits and pieces of interest
- they have had their eye on acquiring this for 7(?) years, and view it as a very high quality asset
- the purchase lowers the average age of their trees (and so extends the sweet spot of thier crop potential)
- there's some commentary about the cyclical nature of pricing, and the tenancy for pricing to over correct
- some bullish thoughts on the longer time price of almonds
Nothing earth shattering, but very positive. Worth a listen, perhaps in the background, if you have something else happening.
