I really couldn't care less if they're making a profit at this stage as long as they're not burning cash like confetti. Every new trader is additional revenue for marginal cost so the optimum setting for company strategy is maximum growth in revenue and market share without exposing the company to undue risk.
They could presumably turn a profit at will merely by reducing some costs. The primary metrics I am interested in are:
# of active members
annual revenue per member
trajectory of both
Fortunately, in my opinion, company management has a similar view
