i think i have mentioned this before. please google "error correction of quantum computers" and read through a number of different articles on the topic. Politicians are very good at "spending other peoples money" and what will they get in return ? photo ops galore. Quantum computers make great backdrops, very cool looking in a steam punk kinda way ... anyhow, Senetas and Votiro are struggling at it is, probably won't survive long enough to see the first commercially useful quantum computer and test their quantum "resistant(hopefully)" encryption...
