Wow,
I'm only about two years into the FAR saga, so I found the Shell backstory fascinating.
What I do know is that the Africans (give or take a few shonks) will value and honor the long term relationship. And this is another intangible that stands FAR in good stead if there are to be negotiations about the structure of the JV going forward.
