"The Company will not remunerate Mr White nor Mr Didugu further for their new responsibilities at this time, noting they are currently engaged in senior roles." ... i.e. they're already overpaid for doing sweet f a, so now is their chance to actually earn it. Then in 6-12 months time when they're doing what the company should have been doing for the last 12 months, they'll claim superior performance and that they should be remunerated via bonus on the spot and an increase in salary going forwards.
This could go either way today, but in theory should result in an uptick. One salary package gone, no one should have claim on any previously announced performance shares (as they were noted as specifically for Ken, not for the role if I remember?), and no increase in remaining salaries. So immediate short term reduction in expenditure. Those behind Ken may make the SP suffer as a result of immediate dismissal though.
I see a board shuffle as a good thing, but not with those that are still standing, need some outside blood. From my personal communications with Sonny, something doesn't sit right with me about him, but that's just personal opinion. I'll be looking to make a steady exit from most if not all of my position. Love the company, lost complete faith in the board's capacity to do anything with it. THC will definitely remain on the radar for future, but way too much disappointment and repetitive "if we just get past this, then...."
Do wish all the best for all holders though, and hopefully the ship does an about turn in the near future.
