as ddzx points out, and perhaps with some merit, the deposit maketh the appointment (in retrospect).

but I guess it depends on your motive. if you want genuine value, yeah the deposit is what matters most.

if you want a salesman who can whip up perceived value, then appointments may matter more than deposit.

if you want to make mega bucks on an IOCG discovery, an appointment probably doesn't matter quite as much, assuming appropriate integrity and work ethic.

if you want to make decent returns on the basis of public interest, then appointments can matter a lot.

all depends on your personal objectives I guess.

the holy trinity are excellent salesmen as well skilled in their respective fields, which makes their salesmanship all the more credible. so them moving away is always a concern to some extent. but Turner, given the direction of the company, may be great?
