Grubba, be warned, Linkedin has its pitfalls. I joined Linkedin yonks back, when I received a request to link there from someone I liked and trusted.
Some time later, she told me that Likedin had hacked her email address book, and invited everyone to link in her name.
Grubba, I used to get emails to link with people I was in regular contact with, who denied initiating a link. All bulldust, mate, and very intrusive.
I bailed & told them to eff off.
