The bots were working across both platforms.

They were leaving a gap on the ASX, but orders would fill via Chi X. Example: ASX first sell order at 20 cents and second sell order at 22 cents. Chi X first sell at 21 cents. I would buy all ASX at 2o cents and leave some residual to buy the remain at 22 cents. But the 21 cents orders from ChiX would come and fill my order. Then I tried to sell at 21 at ASX, and ChiX would move down to 20.5 cents.
