There are a few issues with him IMO.

He's got no expertise in any field related to Yowie
He seems very keen to hand himself free shares/options/perf rights with no shareprice hurdles so no alignment with shareholders.
He's a loose cannon with his mouth. Promises ridiculous growth rates and timelines and then just walks away from them as though he's teflon coated.
Plenty in the market won't invest in the company until he steps down
Have a look at the senior staff recently appointed - laughable that ANY of them would report to him.

He should step back IMO. By all means become a non exec director and stay involved but this company has outgrown his usefulness. If he's not careful there could easily be a push to oust him. In fact I'm surprised this hasn't happened already.
