Sharr7, sounds smart from an investors / traders perspective but is not the way it works. To get clients of brokers on board CHK have to demonstrate that they get their investment back with a profit in a very short time. The higher the sp at an inflated MC the higher the risk for them despite the usually offered 15- 25% discount based on the 5 day average. They want to make a 5 - 10 % profit very quickly with low risk to be stuck in a stock when there is the usual CR sell down and the lower the sp the better the chances to sell quick the huge amount of shares and to participate in the next one.

Avi and Co will try their best to get a possible CR done with max $$$$ at min dilution but there are always at least 2 parties involved in a deal who want to be satisfied. If they play their cards right they could easily raise at 1.8 c using the oppie conversion if the underwriter is a serious investor wanting a big slice and not just one of the Sophies-Cowboys. It is all about supply and demand and getting their hands on 100-200m CHK shares for less than 2c on market is very unlikely, that's the starting point when negotiating plus the huge copper deposit that will definitely become a mine in the future run by a one of the big guys, most likely BHP.

There are so many comps on the ASX undervalued as the market isn't always right. Not x-promoting, but look at IMU, valued at less than USD 50m while a US listing would attract a valuation of USD 2 Billion.

    Time will tell.
