Hi RDD, always appreciate your posts.

It was a rhetorical question- but there is much in massed human behavour that is unknowable. I did study psych back in the day. It amazed me that so many theories about people can be found to have little foundation- and yet be taught and used by practitioners for decades. Theories about investing behavour may include a few of those- but willing to keep an open mind- perhaps I might glean some insights from chartists. But it is mostly about supply and demand isnt it- rhetorical. Once enough people have decided that they have enough of an equity- why should the SP stay at that price. Markets do not buy or sell- individuals do. Waffling now, I will stop.

But anyway, teaching myself to accumulate for the bigger prizes. And seeking not to pay more than I have to for the entities that I buy- perhaps I might pick up an insight from chartists to help here- or not- open mind. Or perhaps at this stage of the cycle- theory is not so critical- when the market is low- look at the fundamentals and just buy.
