I remember only a few weeks ago a certain poster was saying we should have had access for drilling machines by now and words to the effect that management had let them down. Hopefully I have that fw on ignore now. Below is an extract from todays ann which explains how remote and difficult the site was to access. I should also point out in todays ann that they have not said that "the wet" is a likely issue. Arid and sandy is the description of that country!!

There was no estimate that I saw as to how long this drilling will take and the holes are very deep. Should (I hope) be completed well before Xmas. Then there would be a few months delay in having assays processed in Brisbane (if I remember correctly) which NB said is nowhere near as busy as labs in WA.



Site camp preparations, establishment of a water bore, all necessary equipment and the Greenvale field team are all in place on-site, ready for the commencement of the drill program. The program had been scheduled to commence late in the September Quarter, however the allocated drill rig was deemed unsuitable to safely negotiate the difficult road conditions to access the remote drill target locations. The Company has since engaged a new drill contractor, Eagle Drilling NQ Pty Ltd (Eagle Drilling), who operate a track-mounted drill platform with extreme remote capabilities, more suited to the arid and sandy conditions at the Georgina Basin Project. The team from Eagle Drilling will be on-site early November, with the change of contractor expected to delay the commencement of the drill program by 2-3 weeks.
