    Hi BodoDell,

Sorry, but that makes zero sense. There is no competition if the two plants are owned by the same company. It is 100% a matter of allocation of ore, assuming that there is enough to fill both plants.

RMS is looking at upgrading their mill processing capacity, because they have millions of tonnes of low grade stockpiles that are very profitable if treated, but.... they have higher grade ore which keeps it sitting inactive.

RRL has 3 large plants surrounding their main deposits... they have never had any issues about competition.

In fact, you premise is illogical, having low grade profitable ore as base feed, es exactly what all projects want, because they top up the low grades with U/G ore, of which RMS has multiple U/G mines either operating, or soon to be operating at Mt Magnet (and Penny, and Vivien).
RMS have almost pioneered the Hub and Spoke project model in W.A for gold producers. A plant which has processing costs that are vastly lower than Mt Magnets old plant is what counts the most, and the Dalgaranga plant is running at 2.8mtpa, that is 50% higher than Checkers....
MZ and RMS know that profitability per ounce counts above all else.

I appreciate the differing view though.
