Staffing is becoming a big problem for the Glencore mines as everyone else (Yancoal, WHC and even the Centennial pits) are offering big incentives to get or retain people. Same role at YAL which is literally 100m away yields around 50k extra without too much negotiating. WHC are offering really good staff bonuses and 12mth loyalty bonuses. Glencore are no longer the employer of choice
