From what I've heard there's a steady stream out the door at Glencore mines and HR can't fill a lot of vacant positions. Hopefully at least some of them are moving to WHC. It's not like Glencore can't afford it, article in the AFR today said this year Glencore is going to out-earn both BHP and RIO and more than half of the earnings will be from Australian coal. The article is about how Anglo and BHP made the worst deal of the year by selling Cerrojon in Colombia to Glencore for chump change, and now Glencore is going to earn $4B from it this year alone.

If Glencore can't attract people it's because they are choosing not to compete on salary. If WHC is going to compete on salary they may well struggle to make cost guidance - but at $400/t who cares.
