Looks like a turd on the plate but bite into it and it could be chocolate ganache in a quarter or two.
Mixed bag regarding mine performance, tons up but grades disappointingly down at Big Bell and Startlight.
Nice to see prices trending down MoM which bodes well for the next quarter.
Was surprised to see that there had still been mining operations during the quarter at South Emu and Comet.
Realised gold price came in $40 below what I had expected.
Hedge book average price is creeping higher along with gold price increasing will help increase realised GP for Q2.
Average price up $23 going into Q2. Another positive, Q3 hedged contract sales to reduce by 9,000 oz per quarter by Q3.
