Solid enough result particularly given the economic backdrop and everyone dooming and glooming luxury discretionary goods, underlying up on Q4 (last q) which is pleasing.

Commentary stating exception growth in exports... Would like more detail.

And a few really positive points,

1. CEO announcement this week!
2. expansion of core range to increase on shelf presence. I noted this recently that they could do with an extra product for more bulk sales, will be interesting to see what the 3 new lines will be....

Also pleasing, despite a 39% increase in lower price point sales (i.e. Symphone and Classic cask) that GP$ has improved on LY and PCP.

All in all, not bad not good, better than t $1.85 SP IMHO... DYOR.

Also good to see Bill Lark recognition - this would be a great win for the company to have the brand ambassador recognised in this way...

Plenty of awards for Lark in the quarter... Must be rubbish whisky to get another 12 gold medals...

and finally, interesting to note that more than a third of the quarter (39 days) of trade was lost to staffing shortages at celler doors, wonder what this has cost in sales... So some upside to come. I suspect that these positions are filled as there were no vacancies on Seek last week for Lark..
