I sat and watched SoG implode over 2 decades ago. I'm by no means comparing PRU or any other producer to the SoG catastrophe, and I got out of them way before they imploded after I realised their dire predicament, but their situation, as well as the broader situation that was a symptom of gold production late last century left me scarred for life. I am vehemently opposed to hedging unless absolutely necessary.

I correct the above. I confused their undrawn debt facility with another producer. It is half not one third, but insignificant given their cash position and margins nonetheless
