Leroy this is what I hate about commercial in confidence agreements for publicly listed companies. Directors have a fiduciary relationship with its shareholders and should reveal all but unfortunately in reality its the opposite that potentially allows directors the opportunity to obfuscate things from shareholders. Case in question is this ambiguous announcement, gets released as 'price sensitive' yet states 'the cash payment receivable by Lodestar is not considered material to the Company’s ongoing operations'...with cash on hand at $450k one could easily deduce that a payment or a non payment circa $800k or something close to that figure to be extremely material as well as price sensitive to the ongoing operations. So if it is immaterial why not disclose the details? furthermore if its deemed immaterial why was the release tagged 'price sensitive'? my skepticism is on high alert - either LSR and/or CYL have something to hide or not.It annoys me that we ( as shareholders) have to second guess what the real impact this settlement has on either CYL or LSR. Easy solution: BOD's just give us the details!
