The highest taxes on earth for mining should be repealed by the LNP or they’ll be tossed out. They’ll be just like labor if they don’t. These mines will run out and new investment is stifled. BHP said it won’t spend a cent outside sustaining capex in QLD while this is in place. It was a dirty tax grab for out of control spending by labor.
We need to make ourselves globally attractive for mining capital. These taxes are poison on that. We need to encourage more investment.
