The contract prices are not fixed for 4 years though and I suspect some may only have maybe 6 months to go before the price is recalculated based on current lithium prices.
Even with the likely abnormally low fixed contract prices on some contracts they still achieved A$1001 dmt which is still substantially higher than the price you suggest and including the first BMX auction results the average increased to A$1,080
More sales will get pushed through the BMX auction and that will increase the average price achieved quite significantly.
I still expect next quarters average price achieved to be much higher.
