It's fine to be pesemistic due to lack of education on the subject. Just do some research on EV adoption rates by 2025 and the resulting impacts of x outcomes. 

I suggest you do a 3 tier model that integrates multiple outcomes on revised climate change/EV data from Q3/Q4 2018 intergrating macro and micro policy/law from every country, industry movement and capital allocation, consumer trends. 

This should clarify where the nickel and cobalt price is heading for yourself.

I recommend spending minimum 50+ hours on the subject to better understand what is going on a global scale .

Im sure like all retail investors you have not done the appropriate  research, hence the lack of conviction
