It isn’t rubbish. They must have known the risks here of how user growth was accelerating so quickly. The fact all they did was allude to potential churn just shows they don’t know how to manage the risk or Comms. There are similarities here. At best it’s naive or incompetent. Regardless, it will be a long road to rebuild faith.
