IMHO, there will be a time during this high inflation environment, where West African miners will start trading at a premiums over their Australian brethren. The wage inflation is far less severe in Africa and the grades and deposits are generally more economical to mine.

Look at EVN and PRU as an example of how undervalued PRU is. PRU is about to step into the large producer club with the likes of NST, EVN and NCM. A re-rate will come when PRU increases it's annual production to over 500k oz which is forecasted to happen this FY. What really gets me next level bullish is the thought of a WAF, PRU merger. The resulting re-rate for this combined entity would be extremely value accretive for a near term 1million oz producer.
Note the (PE Ratio), (EPS) and VectorVest calculated (VALUE) comparisons for these companies. EVN EPS is trending down, PE Ratio is above the mean and Value is below SP. The exact opposite applies to PRU!!!

PRU looks undervalued and the SP is definitely trending upwards even with pull backs

but being an African miner what's their stability and access to port?
