I agree with Klogg. Hird is there to attract the 'monied' Melbourne set where he is still highly revered. If you want to attract the money set you've first got to get them through the door and their bum in the seat. That's Hird's job, the system and the talking head and the potential on offer will seal the deal. Want proof, check out Chris Judd's pulling power! Won't be that long before we see young Darcy Moore in a similar role.
