no its good and appropriate if you look at history
the reason people invest in stocks is that they are investing in the company - helping them along with money to get things out of the mind and into production. THis is basically why shares are issued and hopefully the price goes up and a dividend is paid.
THink of all the super funds getting fleeced by they market. I am sure that when super funds or investment funds for retirement were set up then this nonsense shorting derivatives swaps was not envisioned and I think it needs to be brought up to date.
After all the mess were all in with GFC 1 2 TARP TWIST etc is because of this messing with the system. ITs a joke
SER has lots of promise and I would hate to see it used to pay for someones mortgage that doesnt deserve it
