Could it be that SSM tie the subcontractors to written contracts with severe penalties for breaches? Just food for thought.It would be worth asking one of the subcontractors. The NBN rollout is finished in this area (Fleurieu Peninsular) else I would ask one of them. That is assuming one of the guys in the street is privy to that information. There have been many service contractors in the past but I cannot remember one in particular that was all the rage a few years ago. It would undertake anything seemingly anywhere!
