An after market release gives all investors time to digest results.
It is better than seeing results drop 5 minutes before the market open, which has happened to a holding of mine. I am quick but not that quick.
That is still better than seeing results drop during trading hours. Last week I saw a sharp drop in another stock, as some investors responded to partial information. Part of the announcement set was live while the other part was after the close. Of course, it clawed back some of the losses on Monday.
In terms of the results, FY19 looked good, as expected.
