When a2 milk first took Lion to Court for their labelling. Most of us LT’s felt that there would be an out of Court settlement.
This outcome is what we have expected all along.
There is no doubt in my mind that the settlement is in a2’s favour. There is no way that a2 would have conceded the case because a2 brought the case to Court and would not have done so if they felt they were in danger of losing the case.
It is clear that an out of court settlement has been made by Lion to a2 milk. The length of time laid down for the case being 4 weeks would have been an expensive and time consuming concern. Lion was in real danger of losing the case, hence paying a2 plus costs.
I feel that the recently published China study results and a2’s half yearly results scared the s...t out of Lion. a2 is that snowflake that became a snowball .....bowling anything that stands in its way. Avalanche here we come.
